Hyderabad, 17th August 2024: Muslim Youth League (MYL) Telangana is rapidly emerging as a prominent force in social welfare activities across the state, earning recognition for its dedication to community service. Under the leadership of President Mir Hamid Ali Engineer, and guided by IUML Telangana President Mohammed Shakeel Advocate, MYL Telangana has undertaken several impactful initiatives to support those in need.
Recently, MYL Telangana organized a donation drive for the victims of the Wayanad landslide, providing much-needed financial assistance to help them rebuild their lives during these challenging times. The funds were sent directly to the affected individuals, demonstrating MYL’s commitment to immediate and meaningful aid.
In addition to disaster relief, MYL Telangana has been active in promoting education and addressing basic needs. A book distribution drive was held in Musheerabad, where Vice President Noman Rehman supervised the distribution of over 100 books to underprivileged students, ensuring they have the resources to pursue their education.
In July, MYL Telangana conducted a food donation drive in the slum areas along the Musa River in Chaderghat. This initiative, led by Vice Presidents Noman Rehman and Qadeeruddin, along with Secretaries Syed Saif and Md. Ashraf, Treasurer Moiz, and active workers Syed Muzakkir and Mohd Zakir, provided essential nourishment to those in need.
During the month of Muharram, MYL Telangana also took proactive steps by visiting Bibi ka Alawa in Dabeerpura to inspect arrangements, ensuring a smooth and respectful observance of the religious occasion.
Looking ahead, MYL Telangana plans to continue its community outreach with upcoming events such as free eye camps, job fairs, and career guidance workshops aimed at benefiting local residents in areas like Musheerabad.
