This year, India’s leading K12 education network, VIBGYOR Group of Schools clocks 20 glorious years. The Group recently celebrated the historic milestone of bringing quality K12 education across India by announcing the launch of two new schools, VIBGYOR High in Belapur, its third campus in Navi Mumbai and its first-ever VIBGYOR World Academy in Nagpur.
In keeping with VIBGYOR schools’ legacy of educational excellence, the two new schools in Belapur and Nagpur are a testament to the group’s commitment to bring holistic education to India’s future generation.
VIBGYOR World Academy, located in New Ramdaspeth, Nagpur, was inaugurated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, while members of the Purva Vidarbha Mahila Parishad lit the ceremonial lamp.
Speaking at the event, Gadkari spoke passionately about the transformative power of education and said, “We need to develop knowledge as a power. Irrespective of the industry, we need to upgrade technology at timely intervals. Not to forget, skilled manpower is important for the development of a country.”
VIBGYOR World Academy, Nagpur, is set to truly be a world school with globally recognised Cambridge (CIE) curriculum, that blends robust academic standards with progressive teaching methodologies, aiming to nurture learners and prepare them for the 21st century.
Meanwhile, the new VIBGYOR High CBD Belapur school is the third campus in Navi Mumbai and 8th in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Speaking on this development, Rustom Kerawalla, Founder Chairman of Ampersand Group and VIBGYOR Group of Schools, said, “The launch of our new school in Belapur marks a significant milestone for VIBGYOR. This institution is not just an addition to our schools, but also a continuation of our 20-year legacy of providing quality education. This development broadens our footprint in India and enhances our robust network across Maharashtra.”
VIBGYOR is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant educational community where growth and development are at the forefront. “With every new campus we establish, we are not just setting new standards; we are creating spaces that offer state-of-the-art infrastructure and enriching extracurricular opportunities. Our commitment is to nurture our students’ intellectual, social, and emotional well-being, equipping them with the confidence to excel in the world beyond the classroom,” Rustom Kerawalla added.
Vice-Chairperson Kavita Kerawalla, who was present at the inauguration ceremony of VIBGYOR High, Belapur, said, “The new campus is designed to offer a truly transformative learning experience. We’re particularly excited about introducing our innovative STEM programmes and leadership initiatives. This aligns with our vision of not just building schools, but fostering entire ecosystems of growth and learning.”
The journey towards establishing educational excellence began with the first VIBGYOR school in Goregaon, Mumbai, in 2004. By 2006, this vision of creating a quality educational institution had evolved into a professionally managed network of schools.
With the two new additions, VIBGYOR continues to strengthen its position as a leading education provider. Today, the VIBGYOR Group of Schools extends to 39 schools across 15 major cities, serving over 50,000 students across India. New admissions walk-in and enquiries for both the schools are now open.
